Buy what calls to you. You will know. Pick up the stone, feel it, close your eyes and see how it feels to you. You will know when you have picked up the stone for you. Take it home and cleanse it and charge it. Don't buy what is trendy and ALWAYS make sure you're buying from a reputable shop. 

 Cleansing and Charging Your Crystals

There are several methods to cleansing your crystals. This is something you should ALWAYS do when you receive a new crystal. Never accept that they have been cleansed, no matter WHO you get them from or what their disclaimer is as to them being cleansed already. Between you and your purchase there is always someone, even one person, handling your stones before they come to you. CLEANSE THAT SHIT! You should cleanse after intense use or when they feel heavy. You might notice it doesn't seem to be working anymore. It's time to cleanse. Your stones get full, absorbing all that energy, they need a good cleanse.

You want to cleanse the energies from your new crystals because they will have absorbed energies that may not serve you in the manner you would like. Regular cleansing keeps them powerful. From there you'll charge and infuse them with the energies and intentions that you want the crystal to help you with. 

The easiest way to do both cleansing and charging, is to use the full moon. This is my go-to method. It's a great way for a beginner to start and it works for ALL crystals. I simply leave my stones overnight in the full moon to cleanse AND charge. If it's cloudy that's fine, the energy of the moon is still there. Sometimes if it's nasty outside, I will place them on my window ledge. If you have no way for the moonlight to shine in, just leave them out and know that the moon is doing her thing. 

Time to put your intention into the crystal. Meaning, it's time to program the crystal to do what it is you ask it to do. Hold the crystal in your hand and cover it with the other and say: 

            I intend for this rose quartz (or other stone)

            to help increase my ability to love myself and have

            confidence and faith in the love I deserve, to allow 

            love to find me with joy and happiness.

Always give gratitude to your crystals, they're energetic beings! Then when you're done with that, keep your hands together with your crystal between them and put the energy into it, you need to visualize a bright white light coming out from your hands and filling up the crystal. You may feel tingly as it charges with your energies. Do this for as long as you can. You'll know when it's done. :)

Now, you can rephrase this however you choose to what suits and fits you and what it is you're needing help with. You can ask it to heal your heart and allow real love to come to you, things like that.

 Several weeks ago in February, I came home to my husband beckoning me to  ... "come downstairs with me, let me show you what I found," 

Two days later, he texts me and said .. guess what I found now??

Well, also since my last post in 2015 regarding reading a book until it's finished, I've not finished one book I bought regarding my path I've got all my information online or from my hearth family when I was in the hearth. I've since started reading them, and am midway through one, lol, and will for sure be picking up the next as soon as I'm done with that.

I've been sponging up the information and finally getting a bigger picture after all this time.

This was a post I was going to make at the time of my Uncle George's death in 2015. I'm not sure why I didn't post this. Since then I've discovered the angels are out there always watching, helping and sending their messages THANKFULLY! :D


Lately I've been trying to connect with the angels, Archangels and Guardian. Couple of stories to tell that I can recall so far. Starting with my Uncle George's death.

I've started to notice numbers more .. as messages from the angels. Some are more meaningful than others but the day of my uncle's funeral, I received  messages of every subsequent numerical value it seemed. 10:10, 11:11, 12:12, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, and 5:55 until I got to the funeral home with my husband. Most had no clue what I was posting on my Facebook news feed but there were a couple who did. I'm pretty sure it was more than angel messages :) My uncle George was surely instrumental in those numbers and at the time I didn't know there was a place to go look those numbers up and one day I will . :) In the meantime, Rest in Peace, Uncle George, we will miss you but we know that you are still with us in spirit whenever you can be and whenever you are needed <3

And well over a year later, I'm still feeling the same unsettled 'I don't know where I fit in' kind of feeling. Most of that is my own fault, I'm not much of a joiner and I'm that person once I'm home, I hate going out.

Maybe if I settle down with one book at a time and just soak it all up like a sponge .. something will reach out and trip me and hopefully it won't be face first into the carpet.

That I am so all over the place doesn't help and I hate starting something that I never seem to finish. I have I don't know HOW many books started, projects, courses online I want to take. Just so much to do and so little time.

I sometimes feel like I just can't move because there is so much I want to do .. where to start? I suppose it's good to start at the beginning, so I will pick up the first book I bought, and read it front to back.

When I started out I wasn't a teenager like many of you, some of us found our 'calling if you will' at an older age but found it difficult and still do as to where to start. I still struggle with my foundation. I started taking a Wicca 101 class online for some structure that never got finished. The other student dropped out for her second time, the instructor went back to school .. I still feel like something is missing. I don't know what kind of book would encompass the information a witch in my predicament (and I'm sure I'm not the only one) would require to help her find her way to feeling more complete as a witch.
